Build a Practice You Can Stand Behind

The Pro-Fit Functional Medicine Certification.

This is a functional medicine certification for coaches and licensed clinicians, built to a physician-CME standard. You learn to read labs against optimal ranges and work a case across every system, then build the protocol around the person in front of you. You order labs through our partners and run each case inside the dashboard we use on real clients. When a case moves past your scope, you refer to our medical team.

A different way of thinking

Functional Medicine Requires Relearning How to Think.

That means relearning how you read a symptom, how you connect complex and overlapping issues, and how you interpret a lab. Conventional training teaches you to match a symptom to a prescription. Functional medicine asks a different question: not which organ is failing, but which pathway has fallen out of alignment, and why. You read labs against optimal ranges, not the lab’s normal cutoffs. You see how gut, hormones, and metabolism drive one another, and you know which one to move first. You learn it by reasoning through real cases, the way they actually present in the room. Pro-Fit teaches you to think that way, then puts the lab access, the dashboard, and the clinical team behind you while you do it.

The Pro-Fit difference

Four Ways This Certification Is Different.

01

Physician-CME Standard

Roughly 100 contact hours held to a physician-CME standard, with accreditation in progress. Once approved, it will be the only physician-CME-bearing certification in the field.

02

Lab Network + MD

Every graduate can order functional labs through the Pro-Fit Lab Network, under a licensed medical director, and read them against optimal ranges inside the dashboard. No other certification puts that behind you.

03

Full AI Dashboard

Wearables, intake, labs, case notes, and messages sit in one chart. The dashboard maps and correlates the data with you, so you decide faster, backed by research and Pro-Fit clinical experience.

04

Verifiable Accredible Badges

A verifiable badge at every test-out and at the final gate. Anyone can check exactly what you passed.

The AI dashboard

Your Whole Practice in One Place.

Every client’s wearables, intake, labs, case notes, and messages sit in one chart. The dashboard maps the data and correlates it, so you make educated decisions faster, each one backed by research and Pro-Fit clinical experience. No spreadsheets. No guesswork.

The curriculum

Graduate-Level Clinical Training. Roughly 100 Contact Hours.

Functional medicine, taught the way it is practiced: mechanism, assessment, interpretation, intervention, safety, and follow-up. Nine sections and thirty-five modules, built on the Pro-Fit 5-Phase Continuum, Reveal, Replenish, Optimize, Restore, Longevity, so you learn the science and the order the body can receive it in. Every module follows a real composite patient from intake through labs to protocol, and every section ends in a live, closed-book verbal test-out you pass before the next one unlocks. It is deliberately hard, because the goal is practitioners who can do the work, not pass a quiz.

The Pro-Fit Continuum

Care in the Order the Body Can Receive It.

Every protocol you learn runs on one clinical spine. You do not push a system the body cannot yet support, so the work moves through five phases in order. Each phase builds on the one before it.

1
Reveal

Start from data, not assumption. A comprehensive baseline: labs, full history, and goals mapped across every system, so nothing gets treated in isolation.

2
Replenish

Rebuild the foundation before anything is pushed. Nutrient repletion, gut and liver support, and the groundwork the body needs to respond.

3
Optimize

Move the levers once the base can hold them. Glucose, hormones, and mitochondrial function moved in the order the body can receive.

4
Restore

Peak and protect. Performance, brain chemistry, and recovery brought to their ceiling, then held there.

5
Longevity

Play the long game. Biological age, sleep, methylation, and inflammation managed for the decades ahead, not just the next lab.

The phases move in order, but the pace follows the person, not the calendar.

Always current

As Science Evolves, So Does the Curriculum.

We are living in a world where biohacking, peptides, and health optimization have become mainstream. As the medical world advances, so does this program. New peptides, new lab panels, new devices, new research. As each one proves out in the clinic, it moves into the curriculum. You learn what we’re using now, not what worked five years ago.

After you certify

You Graduate Into a Team.

The day you certify, our clinical team becomes yours to lean on. When a case moves past your scope, you have physicians, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, nutritionists, and trainers already standing behind you.

Refer Up to Our MDs

Out of scope? Refer to a Pro-Fit MD, licensed in 8 states today and 12 by the end of 2026. Your client stays in good hands, and stays yours.

Mental Health & Psych Meds

Our psychiatric nurse practitioner takes a functional approach and can adjust or prescribe psych meds alongside the hormone and metabolic plan.

We Do Not Take Your Clients

We work next to coaches, nutritionists, trainers, and physicians every day. If you coach the client, we do not pitch coaching.

You Keep the Relationship

We hold the medicine. You hold the relationship. One client, one team.

Accreditation & CME

A Credential You Can Actually Prove.

You don’t click your way to this credential. Competence is proven out loud: closed-book verbal test-outs, a written final, an oral board, and a live case defense. A verifiable badge is issued at every gate, with a three-year recertification path.

The founder

I Built Pro-Fit Because It Did Not Exist Yet.

For thirteen years I have built protocols for people who cannot afford to guess: professional athletes, first responders, veterans, and families who had already seen everyone else. What they needed did not exist in one place. Their labs were in one office, their hormones in another, their nutrition and training somewhere else, and nobody was reading them together. I built Pro-Fit to put all of it in one place.

My background does not sit in one lane. Dermatology, hormone and longevity care, the nutrition and lab program at Life Time, a 1st Phorm affiliation, supplement formulation, and a master’s in functional medicine and clinical nutrition. Fragmented care fails because reading across all of those at once takes training almost nobody has, and that is the training I built. Pro-Fit has run its own medical team since 2021, and we recently added a nurse practitioner in psychiatry, so every case has a clinician behind it.

This certification is that model, written down and kept current as the science and our own protocols evolve. And I live the way I ask my clients to live: two natural pregnancies, my second daughter born at home, and most of what we eat grown in our own garden.

Where the curriculum comes from

This Comes From a Working Clinic.

This curriculum comes out of a working clinic, built on thirteen years of cases and fully medically integrated since 2021. The protocols you learn are the ones we run right now, on clients around the world, from people at the top of medicine and professional sport to the hard cases nobody else will take.

When the standard of care moves, we feel it in the room first, and the curriculum updates the same week we change a client protocol. In 2027, that same model begins integrating into a hospital system. You learn from the clinicians doing the work, on the cases they are running now.

The evidence base

Normal Doesn’t Mean Optimal.

You learn to read physiology against optimal ranges, because the research shows the window to act opens long before a standard lab calls it a problem. This is the science behind the protocols you will run.

Before you enroll anywhere

Ask the Questions That Separate a Credential From a Logo.

What Can You Do the Day You Finish?

A framed certificate is one thing. The tools to use it are another. Ask which labs you can order and what comes with the credential.

Where Are the Hours and the Body?

If the CME is real, it is on the page. If you have to dig through a requirements table to find it, ask why.

Is That the Price, or the Discount?

A number slashed from thousands tells you what a program thinks it is worth. Honest pricing does not need theater.

Proven, or Clicked Through?

Watching videos is not mastery. Ask how a program proves you can actually do the work.

Accreditation, or a Name?

A well-known founder is not an accrediting body. Ask who stands behind the credential besides the person selling it.

Credentialed, or Equipped?

Ask what stands behind you after the certificate: labs, a medical director, a team.

How Pro-Fit compares

Teaching You Is the Easy Part. Few Leave You Able to Practice.

Accreditation proves you learned it. It does not prove you can practice it. Every program in this field can teach you the material, then leave you exactly where you started: credentialed on paper, with no labs to order, no medical director, no tools, and no way to prove what you know. Only one puts all of that behind the credential. Read across the row.

Questions

Before You Enroll.

Is this accredited CME?

The program is built to the physician-CME standard, around 100 contact hours, and accreditation is in progress. We update the site as approvals land. Graduates earn a verifiable Accredible badge, with a recertification path.

I am a coach, not licensed. Can I enroll?

Yes. As a Pro-Fit Certified Practitioner, you go through the full curriculum and earn a verifiable credential. The only content reserved for licensed clinicians is medical dosing and prescribing.

Why does it cost more than a self-paced course?

A self-paced course hands you videos. Pro-Fit is built to a physician-CME standard and proves competence through closed-book test-outs. You also get a lab network and a medical director behind you. It is a different category.

How is competence proven?

Each section closes with a closed-book verbal test-out. The final gate adds a written exam, an oral board, a live case defense, and a capstone client. You graduate having proven the work.

Which labs will I learn to run and interpret?

You learn to read the full range of functional labs we use in the clinic: blood chemistry and cardiometabolic panels, hormones and thyroid, gut and microbiome, organic acids, micronutrients, genetics, and toxins and metals. One full section is devoted to advanced laboratory interpretation, taught as patterns rather than isolated numbers. During the course you also run functional panels on yourself, so you practice on real data before you read a client’s. The exact panel set unlocks at enrollment.

Start Where You Belong.

Coaches, start with the free masterclass. Licensed clinicians, take the two-minute eligibility check. Either way, you leave knowing exactly where you stand.
